Abby Silva, currently based
in New York City, received her BFA in 2002 from Marymount
Manhattan College where she studied under the direction of
Katie Langan, Merle Holloman, and Anthony Ferro. Shortly after
graduation, Abby joined the Parsons Dance Company which has
allowed her to perform and teach around the world in such
places as Italy, Prague, Korea, and the Netherlands, to name
a few. This spring begins Abby’s fifth season with the
New York Based Company. In her off season, Abby enjoys teaching
and choreographing for various studios across the United States.
She is in high demand as a performer, choreographer, and adjudicator
