Danya Armstrong

Danya Armstrong, originally from Canada, has trained in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, and Germany. After performing in Germany for over three and a half years in Mamm Mia, 42nd Street, and The Buddy Holly Show, Danya now resides in Columbus, GA, where she currently teaches. Other stage credits span Patty Simcox in Grease (Toronto), 42nd Street (Moscow), Oklahoma, Brigadoon, A Christmas Carol, The Chairmaker, Anne of Green Gables and Nunsense II (Canada). She has over 16 years professional stage experience and over 14 years teaching experience. Her choreography credits include Tosca (workshop of a new musical/ Germany), Slap That Base (Gala/Germany), and assistant choreographer in the motion pictures Superstar and Global Heresy. This past summer, she had the opportunity to work along side Tyce Diorio. While residing in Hamburg, Germany Danya taught the Advanced level of Jazz and Tap at the top European Musical College, The Joop Van Den Ende Academy, which is run by one of the largest musical producing companies in the world, Stage Entertainment.
