Lauren Garson is currently a Houston Metropolitan Dance Company member, recently moving to Texas from Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Point Park University with a BFA in Dance. Her training includes PPU’s Pre-Pro and Int’l Summer Dance Programs, the Limón Institute, and the STEPS on Broadway Pre-Pro Program. Performance credits include Houston Met concerts throughout Texas, New York City, and Detroit as well as industrials with Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret Theatre, Int’l Assoc. of Ports and Harbors, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lauren has worked with noted choreographers Robert Battle, Jason Parsons, Eddy O’Campo, Eddie Garcia, Kate Skarpetowska, Pattie Obey, and Peter Chu. She shares her love of dance in teaching, choreographing and as the Assistant Director of the Houston Met Too Youth Company.
