National Finals Entry Policy & Forms


Entry Policy:

Entry Acceptance and Qualification

Entries are accepted on a first come/first serve basis and are limited to performance time availability.

VIP DANCE reserves the right to refuse any entry at any time for any reason.

Independent entries are not accepted. All competing dancers must be registered with a studio.

Studios must enter a minimum of 5 entries OR a have a minimum of 10 competing dancers at the event to receive teacher check-in packets including programs and to qualify for a Studio Award and the Entertainment Award.

All entries must be postmarked 38 days prior to the event.

Any routine (solo through production) receiving a silver medal standing or greater at any VIP DANCE Regional Competition qualifies to participate in the Grand National Finals. Any routine that did not qualify at a regional event may qualify at the National Finals Preliminary Competition.


Entry Fees

All fees must be paid by one of the following:
Studio Checks (No Personal Checks Accepted)
Credit Cards (Must Complete Credit Card Payment Form, OR Register Online)
Cashiers Checks or Money Orders

All late entries, faxed entries, or online entries must be paid by credit card at time of submission.

All fees are non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS.

There will be a $35 charge on returned checks for whatever reason.


Changes and Late Entries

Late entries will require an additional $10 fee per entry.

Any changes made to existing entries within 14 days prior to the competition will be subject to a $5 change fee. Change fees must be paid by credit card at time of change.

NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE ON COMPETITION DAY. Please check over your schedules very closely prior to the event and notify the office immediately of any mistakes or changes. Unavoidable changes made on the day of competition may result in High Score ineligibility.


Submitting Entries

Entries may be submitted in one of two ways; online registration or mail-in registration.


Online Registration

1. Create a free account at VIPdanceOnline by selecting a username and password.

2. Enter your contact information and student list only once.

3. Fill out the simple online entry form to submit your entries.

4. Pay securely by credit card.

5. Log in to your account at any time to review your entries, add entries, or to make changes to your entries.


Mail-in Registration

1. Download and print out the entry forms below or call the office to receive a teacher registration packet by fax or mail.

2. One Competition Registration Studio Cover Sheet should be filled out per studio. Each performer’s name and age must be listed. Please make as many copies as necessary to fit all performers' names.

3. A separate Competition Registration Regional Entry Form should be filled out for each routine.

4. One Convention Registration Form should be filled out per studio.

5. Competition Entry Forms, Competition Fees, Convention Entry Forms and Convention Fees must be submitted at the same time. Please submit one check for the total Convention tuition, and a separate check for the total Competition Entry Fees.
